Caricatures
I draw around 1000 people a year in caricature. Most of these are done as quick sketches live at events/conferences/festivals etc. Clients include BP, GE, Toyota, Toshiba, Compaq, Uni SA, Optus, Bunnings, 5aa, Nova, O'Donnell Griffin, Mitre 10, RAA, The City of Adelaide, Rokset, Edwards Marshall, Westaff, Solvay, SACA, Rotary, SANFL and Sky City Casino. There's always a queue of sitters wanting to be drawn and this is a great way to attract people to your booth or section of the event. There's lots of laughing and a steady flow of witty banter during the drawing process.For large events I recommend a "template". This is a uniquely designed A3 drawing which sets the theme of the event and which usually incorporates a corporate logo or banner. This allows me to get more sitters drawn and promotes your event with each caricature drawn. See some sample templates below.Or, I can come to events celebrating a special person's achievement such as a birthday, retirement, graduation etc and spend the event painting a full colour caricature which I frame on site ready to be given to the sitter as a unique gift.
